Businesses close, move and change their numbers. If an entry is wrong, email info@bestedinburgh.uk naming the business and the list it appears on, and we will look again.
A business we have missed
Is there an Edinburgh business we should include? Tell us its name and address, and it will be put through the same four questions as every other, explained on the ‘How we select’ page.
If the business is yours
Choose ‘For Edinburgh firms’ from the menu to take over your entry free of charge, then correct its opening hours, address, services or text and compare the Pro and Top plans. A business that is not listed yet can also be put forward there.
Where we cannot help
We cannot answer health, legal, money or building questions, find you a tradesperson or deal with complaints about listed businesses. Start by taking the problem to the business. Should that fail, Consumer Advice Scotland (run by Advice Direct Scotland) and Citizens Advice Scotland explain your consumer rights. Regulated professions have their own bodies: complaints about a solicitor’s service go to the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission, and disputes over financial advice to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
